Med&BioTech scene of the Region of Eastern and Southern Serbia
On Monday, November 21st, we talked about the "Med&BioTech scene of the Eastern and Southern Serbia Region" in Science and Technology Park Niš.
Meetup organized the pilot supercluster "Laboratory of health technologies" and the director of NTP Niš, Dr. Milan Ranđelović, welcomed the attendees and pointed out the importance of this project, as well as what values NTP Niš recognized. After that, members of the management team Ivana Kostić, Aleksandra Lazevski and Mina Matić presented the structure of the supercluster, the activities carried out so far, and future plans.
We had the opportunity to hear what problems the Niš Clinical Center is facing, what solutions the supercluster can offer, and how to connect the state, science and the economy to achieve the desired results together.
Startup companies ByTech and Kidneya Therapeutics, supercluster members, shared their experiences and benefits with the attendees. The ByTech company was enabled to cooperate with a private polyclinic in Niš, which is also a member of the supercluster, in order to improve their product.
