New Year's meetup of the supercluster of Health-Tech Laboratory
As the final activity of 2022, the pilot supercluster Health-Tech Laboratory held its New Year's meetup on December 28th for its members. The program was moderated by Nikola Stanojević, a serial entrepreneur with several of his startups (SOMA, Imunin, and others), who has been working intensively with startups and participating in their financing for some time.
The first opportunity to present to the community was given to Ivan Jurčić on behalf of the TelMed startup, who presented the business model and progress of this new teleradiology solution for the electronic transmission of medical images and recordings of unchanged quality. Another member of the team, Vladimir Jovičić, explained the details behind the technical specifications of their solution. They managed to interest everyone present with the discussion and questions that started 2 minutes into the presentation.
After that, Professor Pavle Anđus from the Faculty of Biology at the University of Belgrade presented his and his team's innovation, which arose from their long-standing research. The topic was the development of an organ-on-a-chip system for the diagnosis of numerous neuroimmunological diseases that are currently either not detected or detected with long-lasting and inaccurate methods.
Finally, Golden Bee was presented by its founder Slobodan Dolašević to the members of the supercluster. It is a solution that enables beekeeping in household conditions and closed spaces, with a focus on solving and contributing to the health aspect that local honey and bee product production can contribute to their product users.
After the presentations, the audience actively participated with questions, suggestions, and ideas for the further development of the startups. Founders exchanged experiences and advice for future business steps and connected with relevant representatives of the community for the further development of their startups. After the end of the program, members had time for New Year's networking and exchanging New Year's gifts.
